Canon donated old books to the Mirror Foundation
Canon Marketing (Thailand) Co., Ltd. led by Mr. Taweesak Teerarattana, Manager of QEHS Department delivered 595 kilograms of old books which are donated by Canon staff to the Mirror Foundation under Read for Thai Project for the ninth consecutive years and the donated old books will be passed on to people in need or sold to raise fund on 1 March 2024. This activity represents one of the company's environmental conservation efforts aiming to raise the awareness about reuse of waste materials and reduction of greenhouse gas emission. In terms of the reduction of carbon dioxide emissions, which is regarded as a major cause of global warming, this activity could reportedly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1,288 kgCO2e.
